Academic Background
My career development has benefited from the tireless work of several mentors, including Dr. Renée Duckworth, Dr. Consuelo Walss-Bass, Dr. Bruce Walsh, Dr. John Wiens, Dr. Alexander Badyaev, and Dr. Margaret Brown-Marsden, to whom I am immensely grateful. This mentorship was possible through the structures of various universities, including University of Dallas, Loyola University Chicago (B.S. Biology (ecology emphasis), Anthropology minor), and The University of Arizona (M.S. Ecology and Evolutionary Biology). I am also particularly grateful for the support from Dr. Vineeth John, Dr. Marsal Sanches, and Dr. Anilkumar Pillai during my research track residency at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth (M.D. and Psychiatry Residency) and for the freedom they granted me to pursue research in evolutionary psychiatry.

Research Mentorship
Recognizing the role that mentorship has played in my career development, I have strong interests in collaborating on research with trainees at any level. If you have interest in working with me, I would encourage you to read about my research interests and some of my recent publications, then send me an email detailing your motivation for pursuing research in general and your specific interest in my research. You might include a proposal about the type of research you would be interested in pursuing. Please include a copy of your resume or CV. If I don't respond within one week, feel free to send a follow-up email.
